Commission Agreement and Terms of Service.
By commissioning me, the Artist, the Client is agreeing to the following terms:
Payment.
1. All payments must be made through Paypal or Venmo, and in USD.
2. Payments for commissions equal to or less than $200 USD must be made upfront and in full. For commissions over $200 USD, Clients can request an alternative payment plan.
Ownership and Use.
1. All commissioned work is for personal use of the Client only, no commercial use allowed. Selling the artwork, prints, or any other form of monetization is strictly prohibited.
2. Any commissions with the intention of being sold or mass produced must be discussed with the Artist prior and an extra fee will be charged.
3. The Artist reserves all rights to their work, which includes the right to distribute and use the artwork as samples for sales and self-promotion. The Artist will not use the Client’s commission for any other monetization.
4. If the Client wishes for the commission to be private, it must be requested.
5. The Client may upload the artwork on a public platform as long as credit for the work is given to the Artist.
6. The Artist reserves the right to reuse sketches or any other rejected work for other commissions or personal work.
Refunds and Cancellation.
1. All commissions are non-refundable after the sketch is approved by the Client. If a refund is requested before the sketch is approved, the Client will be refunded 50% of what was paid.
2. Full refunds will only be received if the Artist is unable to complete the commission for any unjustifiable reason.
Terms.
1. References for the Client’s desired commission is highly recommended and appreciated.
2. The Artist can draw original characters (OCs), sonas, anthropomorphic animals or creatures, fanart, and other characters.
3. Commissions will take at least three (3) weeks to complete. The Client may request a quick turn around, but turn arounds of ten (10) days or less will be charged a fee of at least 25%.
4. The Artist reserves the right to refuse any commission request for any reason.
5. The Artist will not start the commission until payment is received. After payment is received, a sketch will be made and sent back to the Client for approval. The Artist will send updates throughout the whole commission process. Updates will also be given upon request.
6. Changes can be requested at any time before the commission is completed. Any major changes will require an extra fee.
7. The Client will receive a digital copy of the commission once completed and all payments have been made.
This commission agreement and terms of service can and will be changed and edited at any time. Clients with work-in-progress commissions will not be effected but will be notified of the change.
